Sound & Update Cards
In addition to hundreds of more sounds, Sound Cards can deliver updates to your M4000D Mellotron Series instruments (Regular, Mini, Rack, rev3 M4000D Micro).
Unlike many other modern electronic devices, the update only takes about 10 seconds.

Note stealing - Digital Mellotrons have 10 note polyphony, which usually isn’t a problem. But if you use the sustain pedal and play 11 notes, the first note played is cut, allowing the “11th note” to be played. So the first note gets “stolen,” hence note stealing.
